Recap: NYC’s Food Policy Director

Barbara Turk presenting

On March 24th, CFF partnered with Philanthropy New York to host Barbara Turk for a briefing titled NYC’s Food Policy Director on Health, Hunger, and Equity. You can find a video recording of the briefing below. Her office also has a new website that just recently launched.

The conversation covered a wide range of topics including the Milan Urban Food Policy Pact and NYC’s role in its development, the inclusion of food in the OneNYC Plan, and the 2015 NYC Food Metrics Report. There was also a robust hour-long Q&A with the audience.
